Fantasy pool rankings: Stanley Cup Final

MORE FANTASY COVERAGE: DFS picks

FANTASY PLAYOFF POOL RANKINGS

Basic playoff pools have the following scoring system: goals and assists count for skaters with a potential bonus for a hat trick, and wins count for team goalies with a potential bonus for a shutout. Value has been quantified based on factors including but not limited to past production in the regular season and playoffs, line combinations, defense pairs, power-play usage, goalie start volume and timeshare situations, injury history or concern (INJ. for injured or DTD for day to day), contract status, age and positional matchups in the Stanley Cup Final. The Montreal Canadiens are facing elimination (*). These rankings are a collaborative effort by Pete Jensen and Rob Reese.

The Second Season 2021 Fantasy Hockey Playoff Challenge

Confidence Pool

The idea behind the NHL Playoff Confidence Pool is to rank the teams from 1 to 16 based on which team you think will win the most games in the playoffs. After the NHL season is complete and the playoff matchups are set, start by sorting the team name in the sequence which you think will win the most games throughout the playoffs, the #16 team being team to win the most games, the #15 team being the team to win the second most games, and so on, all the way down to #1.

Each time a team wins a game, the pool participant will get the corresponding points(rank = points). So for example, if you pick the Hawks to win the most games (placed at #16 on the list), they will get 16 points for every win throughout the playoffs.

After the Cup Finals champion is crowned, we will add up the points accumulated from each individual team and place the final total in the "Total Points" column. The participant with the most points wins!

Setting Your Lineup

There are four (4) playoff rounds total during the Hockey Playoff Challenge. Prior to the first round of the playoffs, the pool of available hockey players will be selected by each owner and submitted to the Administrator. You can keep track of your team during the course of the playoffs, and the Administrator will update point totals at the end of each playoff game.

Roster Requirements

The chart below lists roster requirements for each team. You must select the required number of players at each position (listed below) from the available player pool. You also not be allowed to set a lineup that does not meet the roster requirements. If your roster is not submitted once the lineup setting deadline passes, you are ineligible to play.

Roster Requirements
PositionNumber of Roster Spots
Forwards (C/LW/RW)10 (ten)
Defensemen (D)6 (six)

Note: For players who play two positions, the Administrator will determine their position eligibility. If any of your selected players are injured after the lineup setting deadline, or for any reason are not available to play, you will not be able to change them.

Scoring

Point Values

A team will accumulate points based on the statistics accumulated by the players on the team. The chart below lists the point values.

Scoring
StatisticAll Position Players Receive
Goals+5 points
Assists+3 points
Short-handed Goals(additional) +2 points
Power-play Goals(additional) +1 point

Tiebreakers

Ties will be broken by comparing tiebreaker answers each owner will provide with final roster submission. In the event that there is still a tie after all tiebreaker answers are examined, the winner will be decided by your league commissioner in a manner he or she chooses.

She soyed with her back to me and bent lower and lower. From under the short robe, at first, the firm buttocks appeared, and then, when she slightly spread her legs, a pink half-open strip became visible. From the juice that exuded, it looked varnished. Holding my breath, I peered at her, feeling the sweet languor in the head of the penis.

Finally, Wanda found the pepper and straightened up.
