Achievement requirements constantly changing.
Not fairly compensated for results, Compensation went in one direction (Down)
Management is pressured and are forced to micro manage excessively. Due to this workplace culture is negative.
Hardest part of job was keeping track of, and being paid for every sale. Flexible schedule means evenings and weekends even if you meet objectives.
Most enjoyable, being in charge of my own success.
Over achievers are paid well based on number of sales.

Direct Sales Representative is responsible for selling cable, internet and digital phone door to door in residential areas.
You would be joining Charter at a very exciting time. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Conduct door-to-door sales of broadband (cable, internet & digital phone) services.
• Meet established sales targets across company product lines.
• Effectively works all addresses as assigned to maximize sales activity and increase penetration of all products.
• Compiles daily reports of sales contacts, presentations, objections, sales and other information as required by supervisor.
• Communicate with your Supervisor about any competitive activity in your territory.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
• Experience in a retail customer service or sales role; sales experience a plus
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including-evenings and weekends
• Valid driver’s license, car insurance, a satisfactory driving record and use of a reliable personal vehicle
• Motivation to sell door to door in residential areas
• Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions
• Engaging communication skills to build relationships with prospective customers

It's a great environment to work for. Everybody is upbeat, high tempo. People are willing to help. It starts with our leadership. I mean, our leadership is impeccable. When I did come in, I had little, little training in sales. They're still willing to train people that don't have a full extreme background of sales.
We are a bundled service company, so believe it or not, when you do the three lines of business, which is the TV, the internet and the home phone, you do get a better deal. A much better deal.
If I had to say the best thing of working here, it's got to be the camaraderie. I mean, the people that work here, the environment, it's a big family, basically. I love sharing the same roof with these people.

Conduct quality face to face in-home sales presentations to new Spectrum customers.
Identify customer needs, wants, and desires in conversation and match with company products and diplomatically handle interactions with potential customers.
Reconcile daily sales orders with cash taken in and keep documentation of sales orders.
Attend sales meetings in person and training sessions as directed by management.
Achieve established sales goals and quotas.
Work independently to promote the sales of Spectrum residential products and services.
A minimum of one year of proven sales experience; or 2 years of college; or equivalent combination of sales experience and college education preferred.
Stable work history.
Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation/vehicle where applicable and automobile insurance as required by Charter.
Maintain proper appearance/attitude at all times to represent Spectrum in the community.
Must have basic mathematical and computer skills.
Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, walk for extensive periods of time, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work evening and weekend requirements.
Proficient time management skills and ability to prioritize.
Must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.

Sale Representative (Current Employee) - San Antonio, TX - December 1,
PID(personal identification). For their inbound call center, some managers and supervisors only treat you well if you’re a top performer. They also have their own personal rules/guidelines. For instance, a supervisor will approved your sales method, but another might completely disagree, which results in a triangle with yourself, your supervisor, and your manager. I personally had a supervisor I didn’t work under who was directed to aggressively listen to every call I received waiting to come across any mistakes I made. I only found out after the supervisor told me after deciding to leave the company. You only keep the same shifts with your supervisor until the company deem it’s necessary to have a shift bid. The left hand never knows what the right hand is doing when it comes to sales, billing, and tech support. The Spectrum employee environment is very passive aggressive, most employees take advantage of the therapy session company offers through its insurance that you can sign up for. A extremely high turn overrate. As quick as they’ll get you in, they’ll get you out faster if they don’t like you. The only things good about spectrum is the free service, your pay, and benefits.

It may rain in the morning.
Sometimes there's traffic.
If it's really sunny, bring enough water.
You definitely have to get your running shoes out.

Qualities that are good for a DSR are a positive energy, outgoing, friendly.
Able to gauge and to read people.
